     In this novel, a girl named Tally has always wanted to become a pretty since she was a little girl. Well, her best friend Shay has changed her mind about becoming pretty, and she wants to stay ugly, so she runs away from the city. It is up to Tally, will she help Shay, or will she turn her in? Read to find out.  

     A scene that I really liked was when Tally was learning to ride a hover board to escape the city. I like this scene because it shows that Tally is determined and confident and that she knows what she's doing. 

     I would rate this novel 4 out of 4 stars because I like how this science fiction novel has a good plot and that it is suspenseful and interesting.
